“Monument to the Plow” / 2014

Concept

The proposal is for a building mounted cast aluminum and stainless steel plow that would jut from the uppermost corner of a structure in the River Market – Kansas City.

The piece is in part an homage to Isamu Noguchi’s 1933 elegant, but unrealized proposal by the same title.

The piece would reside on the West by Northwest corner of the proposed sight and would be dynamically framed by the sky and surrounding structures.

The actual proposal will center around a large scale model, and conceptual drawings.
